Editorial Policy

How Picartica decides what to publish and recommend.

Picartica is knowledge-first. Educational usefulness, material behaviour and source provenance come before affiliate or commercial intent.

Source hierarchy

Product-specific claims prioritize manufacturer technical documentation. Manufacturer education may support technique explanations. Independent measured sources may be used where they add useful evidence.

Manufacturer facts vs observations

A manufacturer statement is not relabelled as a Picartica test. Picartica observations are published only when a controlled test has actually been performed.

Recommendations

“Best” means best for a defined job. A useful recommendation should explain the use case, the properties that matter, meaningful trade-offs and who the option suits.

Commercial links

If affiliate links are introduced, they should appear inside genuinely useful commercial-intent guides and should not change the editorial conclusion.

Corrections

Material ranges and specifications change. Source-backed records retain provenance so corrections can be made transparently.

For testing fields and record methodology, see Materials Methodology.
